The Khortytsa Distillery is located in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhe near Khortytsa Island. This ancient island’s history dates back thousands of years and reaches the roots of civilization. It is a sacred place in Ukraine — considered to be the cradle and heart of Ukrainian national pride –and is one of the country’s seven wonders.
Built in 2003, the Khortytsa Distillery is among the world’s finest distilleries. It uses a local organic filter containing schungite (a unique natural mineral) which allows it to get as close as possible to the structure of natural water. The filtration process is further enhanced with special birch and alder-tree charcoal and quartz sand sourced near the famous Ural Mountains.
My husband loves vodka as a mixer and as a stand alone drink. We got the opportunity to test these flavors of Khortytsa vodka and he was intrigued by the Hot Honey Pepper. We had tried flavored vodkas before, but not a flavor like this.
The Hot Honey Pepper definitely has a kick to it, but still went down smooth. My husband really enjoyed this flavor and would definitely buy another bigger bottle.
The Platinum is one of the smoothest vodkas I have tasted. I really enjoyed this by itself and mixed in cranberry juice.
The Khortytsa vodka is very crisp and smooth and tastes like a premium spirit.
