CedarLane Vegetarian Entrees Review

It’s getting chilly! CedarLane is here to make bundling up by the fire a little easier with a hot and ready meal. From Eggplant Parmesan to Three Layer Enchilada Pie, there are enough varieties to keep you satisfied every night of the week. Each entree can be heated up in about 5 minutes, meaning you can have a meal ready to eat in about the amount of time it takes to order a Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Each full meal is less than 400 calories and made from natural ingredients, so you can feel good about what you’re eating. Plus, out of the TEN vegetarian meals, FIVE of them are gluten-free! For a full list of the delicious Fall entrees, including nutrition facts and heating instructions, please visit this page.

Review

I am a working mom and never have time to make myself lunch for work, so I am normally grabbing a TV dinner or a cup of noodles. Not the healthiest of options with all the preservatives, sodium, and other ingredients that are bad for your body. With the Cedarlane line of frozen meals I don't feel guilty with my grab and go option. I don't feel like I am ruining my daily intake of sodium, carbs, fat, etc. Cedarlane frozen foods have a lot of great options and are made fresh and then frozen. I can actually read the ingredients on the labels. There are vegetarian options and many are gluten free, which is a plus for people like my mom with gluten sensitivity.

I had the opportunity to try 2 of the frozen meals.

Three Layer Enchilada Pie: Really tasty! The enchilada pie wasn't soggy when I made it in the microwave. It has a nice Tex Mexico flavor that isn't over powering. The corn tortillas were pretty good also.

Eggplant Parmesan: This eggplant parm is sooo yummy. With the sundried tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, bell pepper, and other veggies this is a medley of YUM! I did not think I would like this one as much as I did. As far as frozen meals go, this will be a regular. Cedarlane frozen meals are a great option for something quick and easy for those busy days when you don't have time to grab something fresh. Though I would not recommend eating frozen meals regularly, these are amongst the healthier and tastier options out there.
