Wine Preserver Review

Throw away your corks and start saving your wine! The Lumo Casa Wine Preserver extracts air from open bottles and creates an airtight vacuum that slows the oxidation process responsible for flavor deterioration. With fresh, full flavor for at least 2 weeks, there’s no need to see wine go to waste again.
The Wine Preserver includes 2 push-button wine stoppers that fit most bottles. Each wine stopper uses a valve that provides a vacuum seal, completely preventing any leakage and allowing you to store bottles horizontally. The seal releases at the touch of a button, allowing you to enjoy wine any time.
I received the Lumo Casa Wine Preserver set at no cost in exchange for an honest review.

My Review

I like having a nice glass of wine on the weekends with dinner, and on special occasions. What I don't always like is that if I don't drink all the bottle within a day or two I wind up having to dump it out because it doesn't taste right. Whether it's a cork bottle, or a screw top, the flavor just doesn't seem to hold longer than a day or two. I received this Lumo Casa Wine Preserver and could not wait to try it and see how it worked. I received some really nice wine to review here on the blog last weekend. I decided to give some of the Moscato I received a try. I opened that bottle last Saturday and had a glass, then closed the bottle with one of the stoppers and sealed the bottle with the vacuum. I opened the bottle again last night after all week in the refrigerator. I was a bit skeptical that the wine would taste the same after all week. I was very impressed though. The glass I poured last night tasted  just as good as the first glass I poured last weekend.

This Lumo Casa Wine Preserver is going to be saving me money. There are two different size stoppers that will fit most wine bottles. The vacuum pump is very easy to use, and it only takes a minute or two to seal the bottles. The seal will keep your wine tasting fresh for up to two weeks.

This wine preserver comes in a really beautiful box that makes it perfect to give as a gift. There were no instructions in the box, but the website has a short tutorial video that shows you how to use it. It's very simple to use. You place the stopper in the top of the bottle, set the vacuum pump on the stopper and pump it until all the air is vacuumed out and the seal is tight. To reopen the bottle you simply push the button on the top of the stopper to release the air. You can then reseal it again. Easy Peasy.

Whether you are a one glass a week, or 3 glass a night wine drinker, this is a must have for any wine connoisseur.
