Our Review
Religion is a powerful thing. It offers hope, it encourages personal strength and it offers kids a good model for their moral compass. I want my kids to have a powerful relationship with Jesus. This 3 book set was perfect for encouraging my boys to take an interest in personal bible study, by making the subject appealing to them.
My boys both loved the photographs in the books. They were eager to learn about the lessons each photo could offer. I appreciated the photos over illustrations because I felt like it drove the point home that religion isn’t just a story. It is real, in real life and impacts people all over the world.
After we checked out the books as a family, I encouraged the boys to take time to look over the books individually. Afterwards the dialog that occurred was priceless. I loved that the boys were asking questions, forming an opinion of their own and discovering that you are never too young to feel the love that Jesus has for us all.
This is a wonderful set for families. The books are great for younger readers but offer something for the entire family. They are a great way to explore faith. I would highly recommend this series to any family with children! The books will grow with the kids and will be enjoyed for many years.
