When you start with the best ingredients, you get the best meals. Stouffer's® Made For You To Love™

Fit Kitchen by Stouffer’s, are protein-packed with complex carbs that deliver tasty and contemporary flavors, including chile verde and smoked peppers! Each meals packs in 25 grams of protein and makes meal-prep a synch!

I got to try Stouffer's Fit Kitchen meals at no cost in exchange for an honest review.

My Review

I'm a working mom, and dad stays home with my two very active little boys. We run non stop from sun up to sun down. Sometimes home cooked meals from scratch are not possible. There are so many choices on the market for fast frozen meals that it can be overwhelming. They all say something about being healthy, low fat, low, sodium, packed with this, that and the other thing. It's a real trial and error game to find healthy, and taste in one meal.

Stouffer's Fit Kitchen meals fit that bill nicely. These meals are packed with 26 grams of protein. They are also very good. They are packed with flavor. I have had other meals that are bland, or way too spicy for some of the flavors, and they just don't look appetizing at all.

The meal I chose to review is the Oven Roasted Chicken. I was surprised at how big the meal actually was, there is a lot of food in these meals. The chicken, potatoes and broccoli were big pieces, and looked very appetizing. The sauce was very tasty also. There is so much flavor in this meal. As mentioned there is a lot of food in this meal. I wasn't even able to eat the whole thing, my husband wound  up finishing mine. He also really liked the meal and said we would definitely be getting more!

Here are some healthy eating tips from nutrition expert Chris Mohr who worked with a team on the NFL for four years and then became a nutrition expert.

1. To maintain a balanced diet, fill half of your plate with veggies and include protein in every meal. Stouffer’s Fit Kitchen meals are packed with 25 grams of protein and a variety of veggies to keep you satisfied and provide variety instead of simple meals.

2. If you purchase foods that are unhealthy, you will eat them. Refraining from purchasing these foods will help curve the urge to eat them.

3. Contrary to belief, eating fruit does not make you fat. Berries are full of fiber and nutrients, so make sure to incorporate those into your diet.

4. Like protein, consuming enough fiber daily is essential, so incorporate foods like oats, quinoa, beans, veggies, potatoes and fruit.

5. Enjoy what you eat and do not deprive yourself of foods, but use portion control for those foods that are higher in calories or fat content. Fit Kitchen contains complex carbs, but does not compromise flavor, with smoked peppers, chile verde and a variety of veggies providing a balanced caloric ratio.
