JORD Wooden Watch Review

Watches are not just timekeepers; watches are statement pieces, watches speak to the style and personality of the wearer. JORD watches tell more than time.

I received the Cora Series Zebrawood & Turquoise Women's Watch at no cost in exchange for an honest review.
Cora is our first Lady's automatic timepiece. Crystal markers bounce light off the lustrous face and the round aperture offers a clear view to the beauty and complication of the automatic movement. Cora's elegance is grounded by the complex grain in the wood case and band. An earthly jewel; our lady's automatic timepiece illustrates the seamless blend between function and fashion.

My Review

I am not usually a watch wearer. I carry my phone everywhere so I can check the time. I have been on the lookout lately for a nice watch though, and came across Jord Wooden Watches. I fell instantly in love with the designs and the craftsmanship of these watches. One of my biggest issues with watches is materials bothering my skin, and the fact that my wrist is so small. I have a 6 inch wrist. It's very hard to find nice women's watches that fit without having to have them drastically re sized. Then if I wear them large and they rub my skin I wind up with scratches and blisters. When I chose my watch to review for Jord I was able to give them my wrist measurement so they could size it for me ahead of time. I was so happy with how well this watch fit, and that the wood did not bother my skin at all. I can wear this all day with no issues. I picked the Zebra wood and Turquoise combination because the contrast is beautiful, and I like the darker wood color. I wear a lot of jeans and darker colored t-shirts, so this watch goes with my wardrobe choices.

The watch arrives in a beautiful wooden box, with the watch on a really nice pillow. The box and pillow can be used to store the watch safely when I am not wearing it. This watch is one that you have to wind, but that is very easy to do. This Jord watch is a beautiful work of art that I will be wearing and showing off for years.

  1. I came across a wood watch not too long ago, and have been obsessed with the idea of having one since. This is a very helpful review-- Thank you!
