We received a Physics Solar Workshop Kit at no cost in exchange for an honest review.
In one way or another, most forms of energy we use originate as energy from the sun. The Physics Solar Workshop explores the topic of solar energy by focusing on photovoltaic cells. By building models and conducting experiments, you will learn how solar cells transform light into electrical energy, and how mechanical devices can optimize the work done by this energy. By building different types of vehicles and machines, you will learn how gears can convert and transform power for different needs.
Each kit includes 320 parts and a 74-page book of illustrated instructions. Build 12 models, including a solar-powered tractor, truck, treaded vehicle, car, elevator, drawbridge, fan, airplane, mobile crane and construction crane.

I am so excited to get this product from Eartheasy. My boys are 7 and 9, and so very curious about the world around them, and how things work.  This is a very large kit that will allow them to build numerous models and do many different experiments with them. The great part is, we live in Florida, so there is plenty of sunshine to keep them busy with this for a very long time. The pieces of the kit are sturdy, because lets face it, little kids can be rough. The models can be put together, taken apart, and remade into something new. They have a blast, and learn something in the process. A mom can’t really ask for much more than that!
