Mommy's Time Out Wine Review

We All know that being a Mommy is a difficult job. A Mommy's Time Out is a well deserved break. These wines are delicate and fruity. They come from some of the finest vineyards in Italy where the best grapes are vinified, resulting in a long lasting finish. They are a great complement to food, or may be served as an aperitif.

Mommy's Time Out offers 2 wines

Garganega / Pinot Grigio
Vintage - 2007
 Region - Delle Venezie Italy
Grape Variety - Pinot Grigio & Garganega
                  Alcohol By Volume - 11.5%
Rosso Primitivo
Vintage - 2006
Region - Puglia Italy
Grape Variety - Primitivo
                         Alcohol By Volume 13.5%

I received a bottle of the Garganea/Pinot Grigio to review in exchange for my honest opinion

My Review

I'm a mommy to 2 little boys, they are 5 and 7. I definitely need some time outs after long days taking care of them lol. I like white wine over red so I was excited to get to try Mommy's Time Out Pinot Grigio. I chilled it all day Saturday while I went out shopping so it would be nice and cold when I came home and was ready to relax. Mommy's Time Out wine is really good. It has a fruity taste, but not a sickly sweet kind of taste. I actually put just a pinch of sugar in mine. Which I honestly would not recommend lol. It makes the wine quite a bit more potent, so unless your TRYING to get blotto, skip the sugar LOL. I think my friend who made the suggestion just wanted to see what would happen lol. This is a great light wine to sit and relax with at the end of a long day. It's very affordably priced also so it should be in every mommy's budget. I give Mommy's Time Out Wine a 4/5!

  1. Not a wine drinker but my cousins are!

  2. I'm not normally a wine drinker, heck I haven't had any form of alcohol in over 6 years, but this sounds like a great wine to get my foot back in the door and it would be great to get a few bottles for my upcoming Mom's Night Off in January! Thanks for the honest review, and I'll make sure to hide all the sugar!

  3. MMMMM Im not much of a drinker but I do like light and fruity wines. Like this idea!

  4. I'm not much of an alcohol drinker either. However I love the idea of this product. The name "mommy's time out" is too cute.

I get the vision in my head of putting some wine in a travel cup with a lid and calling it mommy's sippy cup.

  5. I am a wine drinker and very picky too lol.

Castello del Poggio Moscato d'Asti, I would drink everyday that ends with a Y if my hubby would let me LOL.

I am always open to try something new, I like a little sweet and fruity so if thats what the Mommy wine offers I think I will have to try it out.
