Twistband Review

Photobucket
We all remember the days of the hair scrunchy. Easy to wear, enough styles to match any outfit, and they slid comfortably on your wrist between wearings. But as style evolved, our once-beloved scrunchy became a fashion “don’t,” creating the need for a new breed of hair accessories. Elastic bands tug on hair, cause headaches and can leave dents in your hair when you take it down. But with the introduction of the Twistband that is all about to change.

Twistbands are ponybands and headbands made of elastic trim. They stretch to support any hairstyle, yet are slim and sleek enough to wear on your wrist when you want to let your hair down. Twistbands are available in a variety of colors, patterns and fabrics to complement any style. And with prices ranging from $5-12 for a set of three you can have one in every color!

I received the 6 Hair Ties and the Headband and some Stretchy Shoelaces to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

My Review

I'm always changing my hair style. Long, short or medium, I color it sometimes and curl and straighten it. One thing that never changes is my favorite style...the ponytail. My hair is always long enough for a ponytail. When I was younger I probably had 500 scrunchies for my hair. Then as I got older I started using headbands and the plain black or brown elastic ponytail holders. I switch it up sometimes with decorative barrettes and colored elastic bands. My biggest complaint with all these things is that my hair gets pulled out and I'm left with dents in my hair lol. The dents are a big pet peeve of mine. I came accross the Twistbands and was excited to try them! I loved the bright colors that the hair ties came in. I tried one right away. I loved how stretchy they are. I had my hair up for a couple of hours before I went to bed. When I took the tie out no hair came out with it and the best part, no dent! It stayed put really nicely too, it didn't slide off or loosen up at all. The headband was just as nice. No dent and it stayed put all day when I wore it out shopping. These are a really nice hair product and I give Twistbands a big 5/5 =]

  1. Love it! I am the same way with my hair. I love to have it in a pony tail! My hair is so thick it takes 2 of those black and brown holders. I will have to look into this one!

  5. I need to try these! I cant use the little bands not enough support for my hair and they get tangeled and its getting hard to find a scrunchie to use in my hair so I have been looking at these everytime I am at the salon.
