ila Security Review

ila Security was launched in 2008, a joint collaboration with global communications agency BBH, whose clients include Audi, British Airways and Lynx/Axe. Its creation addresses what was a significant gap in the global market in the area of stylish female safety and personal security accessories.
A 2010 YouGov/Glamour magazine survey reveals that 68% of women are seriously concerned about their personal safety – and the same women also want to look stylish and fashionable. In response to this need, ila Security provides a must-have range of accessories that are chic, feminine and versatile.
Because when it comes to safety and style, there shouldn’t have to be a compromise.

I received the ila-pebble and ila-dusk alarms to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

My Review

Personal safety is a big deal for women. We take self defense classes, buy mace or pepper spray and try to be vigilant. Now we have another option. ila Security Personal Alarms. These are fashion forward, easy to use and affordable. They are also very loud and will attract attention! The pins on the alarms I got to review were easy to pull out and put back in. The quality is really nice on these, they aren’t going to be easily broken or fall apart. They blend in as a fashion accessory and are unobtrusive. I don’t go out alone very much, but now I know I’ll feel better when I do.

  1. Great post, I am single, live alone, and am usually by myself. I get nervous alot in parking garages, walks, and other situations. I never thought to buy a personal alarm and I think it's so cool that they make stylish ones. Thank you, I am getting one. (Raine on rafflecopters buzzyngabe(at)
