  13. Just enjoy every moment with your baby. It goes so fast, you can't believe it! If the house isn't spotless, does it really matter? Let others help you. My baby is 14 now, and the years went by so so fast! I miss holding him. Hold your baby all you want, you can't spoil them. They need to be near you.

  14. Take LOTS of pictures to keep and maintain a scrapbook! Don't just take them, get them developed and put them into a real good old fashioned scrapbook!

  23. When they are very small, sleep whenever they do so you don't get too worn out.
    Also, allow others to help. Aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc can really be lifesavers, give you the time to be yourself and get some much needed rest or time to yourself.

  24. If you can financially afford it, do yourself a favor and hire a cleaning maid service for a few months :). You'll be so thankful you did ! They are only little for a short period of time and enjoy every minute of it. Don't sweat the small stuff either :)

  30. To new Mommys..Don't be afraid to just sleep when your baby does... you will feel better. To Dad's help with the little things like washing dishes, and a load of laundry. The small things will really mean so much to a new Mom. You guys are in this together. =)

  34. The best tip I can give a new Mom is accept help! Don't try to do it all yourself, let family and friends help if they want to. Get enough rest, nap when baby does. Because it's rough to be a new parent.

  44. Do not be afraid to ask for help. It is really nice to have someone with you the first few weeks of birth as the baby will require most of your attention. Older siblings also make great helpers!!

  50. There are a lot of people who have great tips on what to do with kids. Listen but do what works for you and your family. Don't feel guilty if you don't do everything that everyone else says needs to be done. If your baby is healthy and happy then you are doing it right.

  51. Here's my tip...sometimes there is nothing more you can do than to just calmly hold your crying baby AND that is okay! Just remember, they can feel when you get stressed, so try to keep your voice calm and cool and they may follow.

  53. Best Advice? Trust yourself. and breathe. Your baby will love you no matter what. Don't be afraid to try something new. EVERYONE else is not always right. Trust yourself and you will be fine.

  54. If you get stressed and can't put the baby to sleep.. Put them in their carseat and put it on top of the dryer and turn it on. The vibrating helps sooth them! (And check out WubbaNubbs! My daughter loved them!)

  57. Take a nap when your baby does. You may feel like you need to clean while they nap, but you need to make sure you get rest too!
